Why does pelvic muscle weakness happen
The pelvic floor can be weakened by pregnancy, childbirth, prostate cancer treatment, prostate cancer surgery, obesity, and the straining of chronic constipation.
Levator ani syndrome is a type of non relaxing pelvic floor dysfunction. That means the pelvic floor muscles are too tight. The pelvic floor supports the rectum, bladder, and urethra. In women, it also supports the uterus and vagina.

Procedure is done by insertion of the speculum into the vaginal canal, insertion of the laser handpiece with circular adapter onto the speculum.
