How does Lumecca work?
During treatment, a beam of light is directed to the treatment area. Patients typically report no discomfort
during the treatment. After the treatment, the skin will feel warm and appear reddish for 30-60 minutes, after
which the skin returns to normal.
After the treatment, the pigmented spots will appear darker temporarily. Within about a week or two, the
dark spots will start to fade, revealing a more even complexion. If superficial blood vessels are being treated,
they will typically begin to disappear over the course of a couple weeks. To increase the success of the
