Diagnostic Tests for Female Infertility

Treatment Options for Female Infertility

1. Ovulation Induction Therapy

For women with irregular ovulation, medications such as Clomiphene Citrate, Letrozole, or Gonadotropins are prescribed to stimulate ovulation.

2. Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

IUI is a minimally invasive procedure where sperm is directly placed into the uterus during ovulation to increase the chances of fertilization.

3. In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)

A highly effective assisted reproductive technique where eggs are retrieved, fertilized with sperm in a laboratory, and the resulting embryo is implanted in the uterus.

4. Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)

ICSI is used in cases of severe sperm abnormalities. A single sperm is directly injected into the egg to enhance fertilization chances.

5. Surgical Interventions

For women with fibroids, endometriosis, uterine septum, or tubal obstructions, procedures such as laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, or tubal recanalization can help restore fertility.
